Saturation and maintenance technicians

Here, individuals have to operate, maintain, and repair saturation equipment for underwater operations. The maintenance technicians are responsible for testing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment after they have been used by operating crews.

Control system, electronics and instrumentation technician

Type of labour: skilled

The control system technicians are responsible for the installation and control of equipment used in natural gas compression, dehydration, transmission, measuring, storage, etc. Those who perform the role of electronics technician ensure effective management of electronic-related issues within a specific field, department or location. The instrumentation technicians are responsible for all sorts of instruments, including digital, hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, etc., installed within the system.

Supervisors

ROV supervisors, Foreman and Line Supervisors

Type of labour: skilled

ROV stands for Remotely Operated Vehicles. The supervisors of these robotic machines supervise the operations performed underwater so that subsea exploration can go on smoothly. Individuals working as Foreman and Line Supervisors distribute jobs among crew members, ensuring equipment is available to them as and when needed so that work is never hindered.

The maintenance supervisor ensures the refinery equipment is stored and maintained in a safe and efficient manner. To do this, you need skilled labour.

Equipment and Rig operator

Type of labour required: skilled

These skilled operators drive, maintain and operate equipment used in the oil and gas sector, including compressors, shovels, hoists, tractors and pumps. Their works include excavation, moving earth, steel reinforcing, pouring concrete, etc.

Floor hand

Type of labour required: unskilled

These workers have to clean drill equipment, drill floors, maintain the equipment, etc. You can choose unskilled labour for these jobs.

Derrick Hand and Drivers

Type of labour required: semiskilled

These workers in the oil and gas sector monitor the service rig operations, maintain the procedures daily, etc. The drivers drive the company vehicles to move people or equipment within a base location, deliver materials or construction supplies to the selected warehouse, etc. You need semiskilled labour for these.

Mechanic and Terminal Operator

Type of labour required: semiskilled

Pipeline and pump mechanics work extensively in the oil and gas sector. They also take care of other terminal equipment, such as gas-fired engines, centrifugal pumps, compressors, transmitters, etc. Terminal Operators are responsible for routine terminal maintenance to ensure a certain amount of refined products are consistently produced.

Roustabout

The job responsibilities that the unskilled workforce has to perform as Roustabout include offloading supplies from cargo vessels such as cutting boxes, food, tubes, casing, drill pipes, etc.

Management and Engineering

Most of the designations under this work segment are for engineers or management personnel such as project managers, well site managers, leadership development personnel, etc. However, in the logistics department, you may employ unskilled or semiskilled manpower for delivering products to retail outlets, collecting materials from suppliers, etc.
